Until photography became the preferred method of documenting history toward the end of the nineteenth century,? - century wood stoves
Until photography was the preferred method of documenting history in the late nineteenth century, lithography, etching, wood block printing, painting and other "variations" on the drawing is a visual representation of history. Although it seems that we must be able to improve confidence in the objectivity of photography as these primitive forms, we have not. Why is this so?

Until photography was the preferred method for documenting the history in the late nineteenth century? Photographic processes improved during the nineteenth century. Thus, in the range of people to improve confidence in the objectivity of photography .----- photography as a useful procedure goes back to the 1820s with the development of chemical photography. The photograph is a permanent image produced in 1825 by French inventor Nicéphore Niépce. However, due to their pictures taken so long to explain, he tried to find a new process. In collaboration with Louis Daguerre, they experimented with compounds of money on a Johann Heinrich Schultz discovery in 1724, a silver and chalk mixture darkens when exposed to light. Niepce died in 1833, but Daguerre continued the work of which eventually to the development of the daguerreotype in the 1837th Daguerre took the first photograph of a person in 1839, when took a daguerreotype of a Paris street, a pedestrian was a shoe-shiners, long enough to be absorbed by long exposures (several minutes). Finally, France has agreed to pay Daguerre a pension for his formula, in exchange for his promise to announce his discovery of the world as a gift from France, which he in 1839.
Meanwhile, Hercules Florence had already a very similar process in 1832, the name and photography William Henry Fox Talbot had already found another way to resolve the process of silver screen, but was kept secret. After reading refine invention Daguerre, Talbot's process, so that the images are available to the masses. In 1840, Talbot had invented the calotype that creates a negative image. John Herschel made many contributions to new methods. He invented the blueprint process, now known as the "blueprint". It was the first to use the terms "photography", "negative" and "positive". He discovered the solution of sodium thiosulfate as a solvent for silver halides in 1819, and informed Talbot and Daguerre of his discovery in 1839 that could be used to "correct" the images and make them permanent. In March 1851 Frederick Scott Archer published his findings in "The Chemist" in the process of wet-plate collodion. This was the most widely used process between 1852 and late 1880 with the introduction of the dry plate. There are three subgroups of the collodion process, the Ambrotype (positive image on glass) and the Daguerreotype Tintype (positive image on metal) and the negative was printed on paper or albumen salt.
Many advances in photographic glass plates and printing were in the nineteenth century. In 1884, George Eastman developed the technology of film to replace photographic plates, which is used to the technology of film cameras today.
In 1908 Gabriel Lippmann won the Nobel Prize for Physics for his method of photographic reproduction of colors on the basis of the interference phenomenon, also known as the Lippmann plate.

If the image that should remind us that in italics, John Kerry standing next to Jane Fonda, the scene that never happened. This photo has been achieved in Photoshop to a point of guilt by association. It worked. But now, physicists have questional developed a method of looking at the pictures and can easily identify whether they were purchased and are therefore known as such.
